Blockstory Bicycle Ground Anchor

The Blockstory Bicycle Ground Anchor is a concrete-anchored security point that provides a fixed anchor for securing bicycles, motorcycles, and other property inside a garage, garden, or outbuilding. A U-bolt anchor embedded in concrete provides an attachment point that a bicycle lock chain or cable can loop through and be padlocked, preventing the secured item from being carried away. The U-bolt is manufactured from 16mm hardened steel with a protective cover cap to prevent the exposed bolt ends from creating a trip hazard. The concrete anchor comprises a 150mm × 150mm base plate with four 12mm diameter anchor bolts that distribute pull-out forces across a wide concrete surface area. Installation requires a concrete floor of minimum 100mm depth. Maximum rated static load is 2 tonnes — exceeding the forces that a portable angle grinder or bolt cutter can apply during a theft attempt.
