Blockstory Rim Lock Night Latch

The Blockstory Rim Lock Night Latch is a surface-mounted door latch that provides automatic locking on door closure, allowing exit without a key and entry with a key — the standard configuration for a front door supplementary latch on residential properties. The latch bolt springs automatically to the locked position when the door closes, eliminating the need to manually engage the lock on exit. A double-locking function — activated by turning the key twice from outside — deadlocks the latch bolt so that the interior release button cannot operate, preventing entry through a broken glass panel adjacent to the lock. The cylinder is a 5-pin tumbler format with a restricted key profile, reducing the risk of standard key duplication at general hardware stores. The nightlatch case is constructed from die-cast zinc alloy with a powder-coat finish in satin chrome. Backplate dimensions are 95mm × 62mm for surface mounting. Supplied with 3 keys.
