The Blockstory Gate Lock Latch Heavy Duty is a key-lockable gate latch for wooden and metal garden gates, driveway gates, and pool enclosure gates where reliable automatic latching and keyed security are both required. The latch mechanism closes automatically as the gate swings shut, engaging the keep bracket without manual operation. Turning the key deadlocks the bolt so the latch handle cannot be lifted from outside — essential for pool safety compliance in jurisdictions requiring self-latching and self-closing pool gates. The cast stainless steel body resists UV degradation and outdoor weathering without paint or powder coat maintenance. The operating temperature range covers outdoor climates from minus 20°C to plus 70°C. The latch is supplied in universal format with mounting plates for both left-hand and right-hand gate installation and for timber or tube gate frames. 5-pin cylinder with 3 keys supplied.
