Blockstory Patio Door Lock

The Blockstory Patio Door Lock provides additional security for sliding glass patio doors that rely on factory-fitted latches that are easily defeated by lifting the door from its track or applying light horizontal force to the latch. The Blockstory patio lock clamps to the patio door track with an adjustable bolt that physically blocks the door from sliding when engaged, regardless of whether the factory latch is bypassed. The key-operated locking bolt requires a key to engage and disengage, preventing an intruder who reaches through a broken glass panel from releasing the track block from inside. The lock fits aluminum and PVC track formats from 10mm to 25mm wide without any drilling or permanent modification. A secondary ventilation setting locks the door in a 100mm open position for ventilation while preventing the door from being fully opened from outside. The low-profile housing sits flush with the track and does not project into the walking path. Dimensions: 100mm body length. Weight: 180g.
