The Blockstory Mortise Lock Set is a complete mortise lock assembly for timber and hollow-core doors in residential and light commercial applications, providing combined latchbolt and deadbolt function in a single mortised body. The mortise format — where the lock body is recessed into the door edge rather than surface-mounted — provides the highest structural security of standard door lock configurations because the lock body is surrounded by door material on three sides, preventing direct access to the mechanism. The lock case is 65mm backset and accepts standard 54mm mortise cutouts. A 5-pin cylinder with restricted key profile operates the deadbolt; the latchbolt is operated by lever handles included in the set. Anti-saw pins in the deadbolt resist sawing attacks that attempt to cut the bolt retracted. The strike box is a deep-pocket format that captures the full deadbolt throw for kick-in resistance.
