The Blockstory Steering Wheel Lock Club is a visible deterrent and physical immobilization device for vehicle security that hooks over the steering wheel and extends to lock against the dashboard or door, preventing the wheel from being turned. The visual deterrent effect of a steering wheel club is documented by law enforcement agencies as a significant factor in reducing opportunistic vehicle theft — thieves targeting multiple vehicles in an area will move to unprotected vehicles rather than invest the time to defeat a club. The telescoping arm extends from 730mm to 1050mm to fit standard and large-diameter steering wheels. The locking hook is constructed from case-hardened steel and resists hacksaw cutting at the hook position. The lock cylinder uses a 4-pin tumbler with a high-security key with anti-duplication shoulder, reducing the risk of a thief carrying a master key set that opens common vehicle locks.
